City Administrator
The Administration department is charged with various projects as assigned by the Mayor and Common Council.

City Assessor
The main duty of the assessor is to evaluate all real and personal property to determine equitable assessments based on fair market value and entered on the assessment roll.

The South Milwaukee Street Department coordinates all facets of the daily operations inherent in providing the community with safe streets, parks and recreation areas and buildings and grounds and provide its residents with efficient and dependable service in the areas of refuse collection, snow and ice removal and street maintenance and repair.

The Treasurer’s office is responsible for property tax collection, collecting and investing city funds, reconciling bank statements, performing accounting duties, and issuing dog and cat licenses.
